Filing Cabinet Redo

I'm sorry I've been absent for the last several days, but things have been a little crazy.  Nothing big, just busy...

Here is one of the painting projects I promised you.

I found this at the very last stop in our garage sale extravaganza this past Saturday.

 

I paid $5 for it.  

Since it has to be in our bedroom, I didn't want it looking like a cheap metal filing cabinet.  

So, I went to Lowe's and bought a can of this.

Brian took the handles and lock off, then I went to spraying.  

Now it looks like this...

(Unfortunately, I haven't had any good lighting in our room when we've been home this week.)

So, after buying the spray paint, we now have a nice looking filing cabinet for $12.

It blends in with the bedroom instead of standing out, which makes me much happier.

We have done some other things in the bedroom and will hopefully get "finished" this weekend.

I have more to show you, but I'll have to keep you waiting...  :-)
